Hostel Accommodation

SCS can arrange hostel accommodation throughout the UK for groups and individuals. Many groups enjoy the extra freedom that staying in a Hostel brings and SCS offers Hostel accommodation throughout the UK for school, student, and adult groups by special arrangement with our hostel partners. We have colleagues in various hostelling associations, which means we can offer a diverse range of hostel types available for selection, from the very basic back-packer variety to the more sophisticated modern day youth-hostel.

Hostels provide great value, and safe and reliable accommodation at some of the finest locations, with facilities suitable for groups of all sizes. Catering is an option, and we can arrange full-board, half-board or just simple Bed & Breakfast if that is your choice. Hostel accommodation is mainly in shared dormitory style rooms, for example 6-bedded rooms, but singles and twins are also available if you are prepared to pay a supplement. There is a great differential in price among the many and varying hostels to be able to list prices here, but £18.00 per person per night (without meals) would be an approximate and average cost.

Hostels are the perfect base for exploring the UK, and we can arrange multi-centre tours for you, for example 2 nights Lake District, 2 nights Edinburgh, and 2 nights Inverness. The permutations and possibilities are endless to help you explore the history, architecture and culture of the UK and experience the diversity of our interesting and unique country. If your preference is for a city-break, then choose a city hostel for all the action and excitement that some of our vibrant multi-cultural towns and cities are able to offer you.

All of our group hostels are very well equipped - many have lounges, TV rooms and games rooms, which provide a variety of social areas for groups. The hostel staff are very welcoming and understand the needs of groups, and are also a great source of information and local knowledge.
